Workshop Description

Start with a plain tote bag and turn it into something that feels completely your own.
This workshop is all about creative freedom — playing with colour, pattern, marks, shapes and layers, and letting your design develop as you go.
You can go bold and graphic, keep it simple, mix things together or change direction halfway through — it’s entirely up to you. We’ll explore different ways of working with fabric, giving you plenty of room to experiment before creating your final design on the bag.
At the end, you’ll leave with your own finished tote bag — something useful, personal and made by you.

What We’ll Do:
We’ll start by experimenting with colour, pattern and texture on fabric, trying different techniques and seeing what works for you.
Then you’ll develop your idea and create your final design on the tote bag, with guidance whenever you need it.
No drawing skills or previous textile experience are needed.

Suitable for adults and young people aged 12+. All materials and one cotton tote bag are included.
