3 hours
A cosy few hours at the studio, learning how to turn a handful of crochet stitches into something you can actually wear.
We'll begin by practising the stitches needed for our project, getting comfortable with the hook and learning how the stitches work together. Then, following a pattern we'll start making our crochet collars, combining the stitches we've learnt to build shape and texture. Once you've got the hang of the stitches, there's something wonderfully calming about settling into the rhythm of crochet and watching your collar slowly take shape.
The lovely thing about this project is how flexible it is. You can keep your collar small and delicate or make it wider and more dramatic, it's entirely up to you.
You can finish a smaller collar during the workshop or take your project home and carry on adding rows until you're happy with the size.
Whether you've never picked up a crochet hook or have already tried a few stitches, you're welcome to join. We'll focus on the techniques needed for this particular project rather than working through a full beginner's crochet course.
