This course is about slowing down and spending time with your hands in a calm, creative way. Using a simple hand-stitching technique — darning — you’ll learn how to gently repair or personalise knitwear using yarn.
Visible mending doesn’t try to hide things, it lets them be seen and become part of the story. A small hole can stay visible, just a little more beautiful, or a plain piece can become something more personal and unique.
The approach is very simple and beginner-friendly, with focus on the process rather than the result. No previous experience is needed, and there is no pressure to get things “perfect”.
Participants are invited to bring a piece of knitwear to work on — this can be something worn, or simply something you’d like to customise and make your own.
All materials are provided, including yarns and tools. You are also welcome to bring your own yarn if you’d like to use something more personal.
