Alcohol Ink Florals

If you’ve already explored alcohol ink and understand how it moves, this half-day session is your next step. Learning to guide it with intention.

This is not a beginner workshop.

It’s designed for those who:

Have attended at least one alcohol ink session
Understand how ink reacts on synthetic paper
Are ready to refine rather than explore for the first time

We move from “what will happen?” to “how can I shape this?”

We’ll work on:

Guiding ink with a hair dryer — with precision
Choosing inks that create luminous petals
Understanding which papers allow floral structure
Building layers, depth and softness
Adjusting and refining in the moment

The session uses 32 × 46 cm paper — large enough for movement, balanced enough for control.

You’ll leave with finished floral pieces — and, more importantly, a deeper understanding of how to make ink respond to you.

Maximum 8 participants.
Small group size allows to support you individually throughout the process — adjusting airflow, colour choice and movement as you work.

FAQ

Do I need experience?

Yes — this is not a beginner session.
You should have attended at least one alcohol ink workshop before and feel familiar with how the ink moves.
What if I find it more challenging than I thought?

The group is intentionally small (maximum 8 participants), allowing for individual guidance throughout the session.
You’ll have support whenever it’s needed.
What will I create?

You’ll complete finished floral pieces during the session.
More importantly, you’ll leave knowing how to recreate and develop the technique at home.
Is there a break?

Yes. There will be a short pause midway through to step back, reset and let your eyes rest. You’re welcome to bring a snack or sandwich for the break.
